CLEARWATER — Two Pinellas County homeowners are suing a licensed insurer, alleging breach of an insurance policy.

Wanda and Manuel Just filed a complaint Nov. 20 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Integon National Insurance Company, alleging failure to perform under the terms of the policy to cover hurricane damage.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 10, 2017, the Just home in Pinellas County suffered water damage as a result of Hurricane Irma. At the time of the loss, the suit says, the Integon policy was in full force and effect, for which the plaintiffs are seeking payments.

The plaintiffs allege Integon National Insurance has failed to pay their claim for the loss.

The Justs seek trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of attorneys fees, court costs and interest. They are represented by attorney Sol G. Velasquez of Miami.
