ORLANDO — A remodeling company is suing an Orlando homeowner, alleging breach of contract.

Bedrock Construction Group LLC filed a complaint Nov. 19 in Orange County Circuit Court against Michelle Savoia, alleging the homeowner ordered extra work but refused to execute a change order.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 12, 2017, Bedrock entered into a contract to construct a master bedroom and bathroom at Savoia's defendant's home, 1307 Westmoreland Drive, Orlando for $115,500. As a result of the defendant's wrongful conduct in not paying, the suit says, Bedrock Construction has been damaged and was forced to hire a counsel for services for which the defendant is liable.

The plaintiff alleges despite it working in a professional and workmanlike manner, Savoia wrongfully terminated Bedrock Construction from the project with work nearly complete.

Bedrock Construction Group seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs and attorney fees. It is represented by attorney Patrick C. Crowell of Orlando.
