ORLANDO — A Lake County motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.
Loren McHenry filed a complaint Nov. 13 in Orange County Circuit Court against Taylor Hand, alleging the defendant negligently operated a motor vehicle, causing it to collide with another vehicle, and causing injuries to plaintiff.
According to the complaint, on April 14, 2017, McHenry was operating a motor vehicle in the left travel lane of Buena Vista Drive north of Western Way in Orlando. The suit says Hand struck McHenry's vehicle while traveling eastbound in the left turn lane on Buena Vista Drive.
As a result, McHenry says she sustained bodily injuries. pain and medical expenses.
The plaintiff alleges Hand was negligent and careless in the operation of his motor vehicle..
McHenry seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000 for personal injuries, court costs, interest and all other such just and equitable relief. She is represented by attorney Karen Wasson of Dan Newlin & Partners in Orlando.
