CLEARWATER — A vehicle driver is suing another motorist, alleging negligence caused a crash in Seminole.

Nitat Jaruwannakorn filed a complaint Nov. 7 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Jerry Douglas Bower, alleging failure to operate his vehicle in a safe manner.

According to the complaint, on March 24, 2017, Jaruwannakorn was driving in Seminole when he was struck by Bower's car at Park Street North and Burning Tree Drive.

As a result, Jaruwannakorn says he sustained physical injuries, medical expenses and loss of the use of his vehicle.

The plaintiff alleges Bower negligently operated or maintained his motor vehicle so it collided with the plaintiff's motor vehicle.

Jaruwannakorn seeks trial by jury and damages in excess of $15,000. He is represented by attorney Darrell W. Kropog, Jr. of Morgan & Morgan Tampa PA in St. Petersburg.
