Clearwater landlord alleges tenants owe nearly $3,000

CLEARWATER — A Clearwater landlord is suing tenants, alleging breach of a rental agreement.

Roosevelt Boulevard Apartments LLC, doing business as Woodland Key Apartments, filed a complaint Nov. 8, in Pinellas Circuit Court against Tamara Foots and Eric Hessler, alleging the tenants failed to deliver the premises or to pay rent.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 23, 2017, Woodland Key Apartments delivered to the defendants a statutory notice to pay rent in the amount of $2,915 or deliver possession of the premises. The plaintiff alleges Foots and Hessler failed to pay the full rent when due and all rents thereafter.

Woodland Key Apartments seeks trial by jury, judgment for possession of the premises, court costs and attorney fees. It is represented by attorney David R. Weisse of Law Offices of Heist, Weisse & Wolk PA in Fort Myers Beach.
