ORLANDO — Two Windermere homeowners are suing a licensed insurer, alleging breach of an insurance policy.

Lisa Hultquist and Christopher Hultquist filed a complaint Oct. 24 in Orange County Circuit Court against Tower Hill Select Insurance Company, alleging refusal to pay.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 11, 2017, the Hultquists' insured home at 2207 Ridgewind Way in Windermere was damaged due to Hurricane Irma. At the time of the storm, the suit says, the Tower Hill insurance policy was in full force and effect, for which the plaintiffs made a claim for their damaged home.

The plaintiffs allege Tower Hill Select Insurance has refused to pay for all damages to their Windermere home.

The Hultquists seek trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, court costs and attorney fees. They are represented by attorney Marc Jandyr of The Nation Law Firm LLP in Longwood.
