Holland & Knight issued the following announcement on Oct. 26.
Holland & Knight Partner Joshua Levenson was awarded the Commitment to Justice Award from Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) at its 17th Annual For the Public Good event.
CCLA is a not-for-profit law firm established in 2003 and funded, in part, by the Legal Services Corporation. The Commitment to Justice Award honors members of the community whose work improves the lives of low-income seniors, veterans or families through advocacy, education, representation and empowerment.

The project is designed to assist elderly clients who have had assets misdirected and/or taken by fiduciaries or others in positions of trust against their will and intentions. He also oversees the pro bono outreach and community service projects for Holland & Knight LLP's Fort Lauderdale office.
Mr. Levenson is a trial attorney in Holland & Knight’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. He concentrates in the areas of commercial litigation, trusts and estates litigation, medical malpractice defense, premises liability, title insurance litigation and commercial landlord-tenant litigation. He is recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers and was recently recognized by the Daily Business Review with its On the Rise Professional Excellence Award.
