Remodeling business alleges customer owes more than $300,000

CLEARWATER — A Tampa remodeling company is suing a customer, alleging breach of contract and refusal to apply payments of more than $300,000.

Elements Restoration LLC filed a complaint Oct. 17 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against JMJ Castilian Lake LLC and DJ Castllian Lake LLC, alleging the defendants have failed and refused to pay for the work performed.

According to the complaint, in September 2017, Elements began furnishing labor, services and/or materials for the remediation and renovation of Castillian Lake's property at 11444 137th St., N., Largo.. Elements says the costs of the work performed was $307,913.34 but, despite repeated demands for payments, the defendants have tendered no money. 

The plaintiff alleges JMJ Castilian Lake and DJ Castllian Lake have failed to pay Elements for the work performed on the project despite repeated demands.

Elements Restoration seeks trial by jury, judgment of not less than $307,913.34, interest, court costs, and all further just and proper relief. It is represented by attorneys Ty G. Thompson and Robert C. Graham Jr. of Mills Paskert Divers in Tampa.
