CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County man is suing a Dunedin property owner, alleging breach of agreement.

Daniel R. Friese filed a complaint Oct. 17 in Pinellas Circuit Court against William M. Leksche, alleging failure to perform under the terms of the agreement.

According to the complaint, in March 2016, Friese agreed to purchase Leksche's property legally described as Lot 137, Dunedin Pines on Ohio Avenue in Dunedin for $80,000. The suit says after making the initial deposit of $8,000, taking occupancy, installing a new roof and making substantial improvements, Friese notified Leksche that he was willing to close on the property.

However, the lawsuit states, Leksche filed an eviction notice against Friese and made clear that he would not honor the plaintiff's request for closing.

Friese seeks an order requiring Leksche to honor the contract, plus attorney fees, court costs and all other proper relief. He is represented by attorney Lee L. Haas of Haas & Castillo, PA in Clearwater.
