Note holder alleges Orange County borrower owes $45,000

ORLANDO — A note holder is suing an Orange County borrower, alleging default on a promissory note of more than $45,000.

SRP 2013-1 LLC filed a complaint Oct. 12 in Orange County Circuit Court against Barbara A. Demote, alleging failure to perform her contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, on June 22, 2007, Demote executed and delivered a promissory note to the plaintiff's assignor, Nationstar Mortgage LLC, in the principal amount of $50,000. To date. the suit says, the principal amount of $45,449.89 remains due and owning. 

The plaintiff alleges Demote has failed to pay the payment due March 1, 2010, and all subsequent payments thereafter.

SRP 2013-1 seeks trial by jury, damages of $45,449.89, exclusive of interest, court costs, attorney fees and all all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorney Robert C. Schermer of Greene Hamrick Quinlan & Schermer, PA in Bradenton.
