Customer alleges Chrysler dealer sold defective vehicle

Lawsuits

ORLANDO — A customer is suing a Chrysler automobile distributor, alleging breach of warranties.

Nichole Moseley filed a complaint Oct. 8 in Orange County Circuit Court against FCA US LLC, alleging violation of the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.

According to the complaint, on June 22, 2017, Moseley purchased a 2017 Chrysler 200 from the defendant's dealership for $39,482,71. Shortly after, the suit says, Moseley experienced various defects with the vehicle, which substantially impaired its use, value and safety.

The plaintiff alleges FCA US failed to repair the Chrysler 200 in a good and workmanlike manner to conform it with its warranties.

Moseley seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, attorney fees, court costs and all other just and appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney Brent Wikgren of Krohn & Moss Ltd. in Chicago.
