CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County vehicle driver is suing another motorist, alleging negligent driving caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Amers Ayers filed a complaint Oct. 5 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Martha K. Lynn, alleging the defendant failed to operate her vehicle in a safe and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 11, Amers Ayers was operating a motor vehicle at 26th Avenue South and 31st Street South in St. Petersburg when his vehicle was struck by Lynn's car.

As a result, Ayers says he sustained physical injures, disability mental anguish and the expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment.

The plaintiff alleges Lynn negligently operated or maintained the motor vehicle so that it collided with Ayers' car.

Ayers seeks trial by jury and damages in excess of $15,000. He is represented by attorney Adam Brum of Morgan & Morgan Tampa, PA in St. Petersburg.
