ORLANDO — An Ocoee property owner is suing a liability insurer, alleging breach of an insurance contract.

Marcella Sisler filed a complaint Oct. 4 in Orange County Circuit Court against Security First Insurance Company, doing business as Security First Florida, alleging failure to fully perform under the policy.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 11, 2017, Sisler's insured property at 2681 Greywell Ave., Ocoee, was damaged by Hurricane Irma. At the time of the loss, the suit says, the Security First insurance policy was in full force and effect, and Sisler filed a claim for her losses.

The plaintiff alleges Security First Florida failed to fully pay for all of her losses as required by the insurance policy.

Sisler seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney fees.  She is represented by attorney David A Spain of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
