ORLANDO — An Orlando homeowner is suing contractors and subcontractors, alleging breach of contract.

Nhu Ngoc Truong filed a complaint Sept. 17 in Orange County Circuit Court against KB Home Orlando LLC, A&B Stucco Inc., Superior Coating Inc. and 84 Lumber Company, alleging they inadequately perfomred construction work at his home.

According to the complaint, Truong contracted with the defendants for work at his home at 2259 Plantation Oak Drive in Orlando. The suit says Truong has been injured because the the defendants inadequately and improperly constructed the home, resulting in numerous defects and deficiencies at the plaintiff's home.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to comply with the Florida Building Code when constructing Truong's home, reduced the value of his home, and required significant repairs and renovations to correct such defects and violations.

Truong seeks trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, interest, costs and all further just and appropriate relief. He is represented by attorney Matthew L. Wilson of Wilson Reeder and Zudar PA in Tampa.
