Woman sues two businesses after alleged trip-and-fall accident

ORLANDO — A woman claiming injuries is suing Save-A-Lot and Five Star Refrigeration and Air, alleging she was at the South Orange Avenue location of the two businesses when she allegedly tripped and fell down.

Felicia Olivera filed a complaint on Sept. 12, in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County, against the defendants alleging that they failed to show reasonable care for the safety of visitors. .

Olivera alleges that on Dec. 21, 2016, she was injured when she tripped over a grill on the floor. She claims injuries, pain, suffering, disfigurement, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life and loss of earnings. 

The plaintiff holds Save-A-Lot and Five Star Refrigeration and Air responsible, because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain the premises in a reasonably safe condition and failed to give adequate warning of a dangerous condition on the premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney's fees.
