ORLANDO — A motorist is suing a Seminole County driver, alleging negligence in a car crash.

Tiffanee Kachel filed a complaint Sept. 6 in Orange County Circuit Court against Pauline Warren, alleging failure to exercise standard care and skill in the operation of a vehicle.

According to the complaint, on July 22, 2016, Kachel was operating her 2009 Pontiac Torrent on Bonnet Creek Parkway near its intersection with Disney Vacation Club Way in Orange County. The suit says Warren's 2011 Dodge Durango sport utility vehicle suddenly crashed into the rear of Kachel's motor vehicle.

The lawsuit states the crash injured Kachel, causing her to endure physical and mental pain and suffering, loss of the ability to enjoy life, mental anguish, disability, impairment, and incurring expenses for medical, nursing and rehabilitative care.

The plaintiff alleges Warren failed to adequately maintain and operate a motor vehicle so as not to cause harm, and failed to be on proper lookout for other vehicles.

Kachel seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of costs, interest and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney Kim Michael Cullen of Cullen & Hemphill PLC in Winter Place.
