CLEARWATER — A Pinealls County woman is suing a motorist, negligence driving caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.
Nargys Rodriguez Dorta filed a complaint Sept. 5 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Paul Robert Ellis, alleging the defendant failed to operate his vehicle in a safe manner.
According to the complaint, on Dec. 8, 2016, Dorta was driving on Park Boulevard in Pinellas County when she was struck by Ellis' motor vehicle.
As a result, Dorta says, she was injured, sustained a physical handicap, loss of enjoyment of life and will continue to suffer in the future.
The plaintiff alleges Ellis negligently operated and/or maintained his motor vehicle, causing it collide with Dorta's vehicle.
Dorta seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, plus costs of court. She is represented by attorney Victor M. Bobet of Tampa.
