Pinellas County business alleges plumbing supplier owes $118,000

CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County business is suing a plumbing company, alleging breach of contract in failing to pay more than $118,000.

Hydrologic Distribution Company filed a complaint Sept. 5 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Kelley Plumbing Enterprises Inc. and Barbara Harpe, alleging the defendants failed to pay the sum due the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, Hydrologic Distribution and Kelley Plumbing entered into an agreement wherein the plaintiff performed all conditions required by the agreement. 

However, Hydrologic alleges Kelley Plumbing defaulted the agreement by not rendering payment despite voluntarily accepting and retaining the benefits conferred. The plaintiff alleges Kelley Plumbing Enterprises and Harpe have failed to make payment of $118,173.71.

Hydrologic Distribution seeks trial by jury, judgment of $118,173.71, together with interest, court costs, attorney fees and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorney Gilbert M. Singer of Marcadis Singer PA in Tampa.
