JACKSONVILLE –– A Jacksonville man asked a federal court to call a grand jury to investigate stock fraud.
Scott Meide filed a complaint on Aug. 17 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida against Pulse Evolution and its officers John Textor, Gregory Centenio, Julie Natale, Dana Tejada, Agnes King, John King, Jordan Fixenbaum, Laura Anthony, Michael Pollaccia and Frank Patterson.
In the pro se request, Meide alleges these defendants have a long history of mail and wire fraud activities that have not been investigated by the courts.
Meide claims he invested in stock offered by Pulse Evolution, which purportedly offers hologram technology. The company promised high returns and a share price of up to $15, he claims. However, Meide alleges the stock is only worth 24 cents a share.
Meide accuses the defendants of securities fraud and civil conspiracy. He is requested a federal grand jury to investigate his claims. He also seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
The petition also asks for “a declaratory judgment that the actions of the defendants herein constitute violations of federal criminal law, an injunction ordering the defendants to disgorge their ill-gotten gains and return them to this plaintiff, and such other relief as this court deems just, proper and equitable.”
