Orange County motorist alleges another driver caused crash

ORLANDO — An Orange County motorist is suing another driver, alleging negligence caused a crash.

Zoey Michaels filed a complaint Aug. 20 in Orange County Circuit Court against Michael Miller, the driver failed to operate his motor vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 21, 2014, Michaels was involved in a vehicle collision in Winter Park, when Miller ignored a red light and drove his car into the rear of Michaels' stationary vehicle. She says she sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, mental anguish, disability, disfigurement and medical and hospitalization expenses. 

The plaintiff alleges Miller failed to avoid crashing into the rear of Michaels' vehicle.

Michaels seeks trial by jury and damages of more than $15,000. She is represented by attorney Glenn Klausman of Winter Park.
