CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County driver is suing another motorist, alleging negligent driving caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Paulette Mack filed a complaint Aug. 16 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Brittany S. Gaunt, alleging the defendant failed to operate her motor vehicle in a safe manner.

According to the complaint, on June 15, 2016, Paulette Mack was driving her vehicle near the intersection of McMullen Booth Road and Gulf to Bay Boulevard in Pinellas County  when her vehicle was struck by Gaunt's car, resulting in a collision.

As a result, Mack says she sustained bodily injury, disability, inconvenience and the expense of hospitalization.

The plaintiff alleges Gaunt negligently operated or maintained her motor vehicle so that it collided with Mack's vehicle.

Mack seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, plus costs of action. She is represented by attorney Frank J. Currie of Teresa P. Williams, PA in Clearwater.
