ORLANDO — Two Orlando property owners are suing a liability insurer, alleging breach of an insurance contract.

Jocelyn Vergara and Victor Vergara filed a complaint Aug. 8 in Orange County Circuit Court against Southern Fidelity Insurance Company, failure to fully compensate the plaintiffs' losses.

According to the complaint, on March 20, the Vergara property, 1749 Branchwater Trail, Orlando, sustained damage as a result of a roof leak. At the time of the loss, the suit says, the Vergara dwelling was insured by Southern Fidelity, for which the plaintiffs claimed payment for the full value of the loss.

The plaintiffs allege Southern Fidelity Insurance has failed to properly indemnify them for the losses covered by the policy.

The Vergaras seek trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of interest and attorney fees. They are represented by attorney Chad J. Robinson of Boca Raton.
