ORLANDO — Orlando property owners are suing a liability insurer, alleging breach of an insurance contract.

Ron Sibauste and Erin Sibauste filed a complaint Aug. 1 in Orange County Circuit Court against American Integrity Insurance Company of Florida, alleging failure to perform under the policy.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 11, 2017, the Sibauste property at 1620 Cornerview Lane, Orlando, sustained damage as a result of Hurricane Irma.. At the time of the loss, the suit says, the American Integrity insurance policy was in full force and effect.

The plaintiffs say they have complied with all conditions precedent to entitle them to recover under the policy but American Integrity Insurance has failed or refused to fully compensate the plaintiffs’ losses as required by the insurance policy.

The Sibaustes seek trial by jury, damages of more than $15,000, exclusive of interest, costs and attorney fees. They are represented by attorney Nathan E. Wittman of Morgan & Morgan PA in Orlando.
