CLEARWATER — A woman is seeking damages from the Circle K Stores Inc., alleging serious injuries in a slip-and-fall accident at the convenience store at 9097 Starkey Road.

Pamela Tully filed the complaint on July 30, in the 6th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida, Pinellas County, against Circle K Stores Inc., alleging that the defendant "failed to use due care to maintain its premises in a safe condition."

Tully claims she was at the convenience store on February 14, 2017, when she slipped on something on the floor and fell to the ground, causing serious injury, disability and disfigurement. She is claiming "mental anguish, loss of enjoyment of life, medical expenses, loss of earnings, and aggravation of a previously existing condition."

The plaintiff holds Circle K Stores Inc. responsible, because the defendant allegedly failed to address a "dangerous condition that existed for a sufficient length of time, and failed to warn invitees of the existence of the hazardous area."

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages in excess of $15,000. She is represented by Kimberly N. Morant of Farah & Farah PA in Jacksonville.
