Driver alleges another motorist caused crash at Miami intersection

FORT LAUDERDALE — A Miami woman is suing a motorist, alleging negligence driving caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Simone Cox filed a complaint July 24 in Broward County Circuit Court against James Kingsepp, alleging the motorist failed to operate his vehicle in lawful and safe manner.

According to the complaint, on March 27, 2017, Cox's vehicle was struck by Kingsepp's car while she was driving near the intersection of NW 159th Street and NW 16th Avenue in Miami. 

As a result of the collision, Cox says she suffered bodily injuries, disability, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses. 

The plaintiff alleges Kingsepp negligently operated and/or maintained motor vehicle so that it caused a collision with another vehicle.

Cox seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of interest and costs. She is represented by attorney William C. Ruggiero of Law Offices of William C. Ruggiero in Fort Lauderdale.
