Driver alleges another motorist's negligence caused collision

FORT LAUDERDALE — A Broward County woman is suing a motorist, alleging negligent driving caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Ann Lipkowitz filed a complaint July 18 in Broward County Circuit Court against Ashley Macho, alleging failure to operate her motor vehicle in a reasonable and safe manner.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 12, 2017, Lipkowitz was driving her Oldsmobile Aurora eastbound on Oakland Park Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale. The suit says when Lipkowitz her stopped vehicle, she was rear-ended by Macho's Mercedes, pushing the plaintiff's car into the vehicle in front of her. 

As a result, Lipkowitz says she sustained bodily injuries, disability and the expense of hospitalization. 

The plaintiff alleges Macho negligently operated and/or maintained the motor vehicle so that it collided with the plaintiff's Oldsmobile.

Lipkowitz seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, plus costs and all other appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney David R. Strong of Law Offices of David R. Strong PA in Fort Lauderdale.
