CLEARWATER — An air conditioning company is suing a Largo property owner, alleging refusal to pay more than $5,000.

Just Right Air Conditioning LLC filed a complaint July 10 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Sunpointe Place Apartments LLC alleging, the property owner failed to pay the amount due after agreed-upon services by the plaintiff.

According to the complaint, on July 7, 2017, Just Right Air Conditioning entered into an agreement to provide heating and air conditioning services to the defendant's property at 701 East Bay Drive, Largo. Just Right Air Conditioning says it has performed the services as specified in the terms of agreement and presented Sunpointe Place Apartments invoices, but no payment has been made.

As a result, Just Right says it has been damaged in the amount of $5,087.45 for services rendered. The plaintiff alleges Sunpointe Place Apartments has failed to pay the $5,087.45, plus interest at 18 percent per annum, and continues to enjoy the benefit provided by Just Right without paying fair value for the benefit received.

Just Right Air Conditioning seeks trial by jury, damages of $5,087.45, with pre- and post-judgment interest, costs, attorney fees and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorney R. Michael DeLoach of Brandon.
