ORLANDO – A customer alleges an Orange County auto dealership failed to disclose that a vehicle he purchased suffered major damage.

Peter Edwards filed a complaint on July 2 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Florida - Orange County against TT of Sand Lake Inc., doing business as Central Florida Chrysler Jeep, over alleged violation of Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act.

According to the complaint, Edwards alleges that after purchasing a vehicle from defendant in January, he claims he experienced persistent significant problems with the vehicle. Despite reporting the issues of the vehicle, the defendant allegedly refused to repair those defects and instructed him to take the subject vehicle to another dealership.

The plaintiff alleges that the vehicle was a rebuilt wreck and that this was not disclosed to him at the time of purchase. He also alleges that the defendant failed to transfer the vehicle in his name within 30 days of delivery, he has not received his license plate and has not been provided with the original title.

The plaintiff holds TT of Sand Lake Inc. doing business as Central Florida Chrysler Jeep responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to disclose that the vehicle continued to suffer from problems and defects directly related to the prior major transportation damage.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, equitable relief in the form of an injunction, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs, expenses, attorney fees, and other legal or equitable relief the court deems appropriate. He is represented by Taras S. Rudnitsky of Rudinsky Law Form in Longwood.
