Creditor alleges Pinellas County customer owes nearly $24,000

CLEARWATER — A creditor is suing a Pinellas County man, alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

JH Portfolio Debt Equities LLC filed a complaint June 27 in Pinellas Circuit Court against Louis Dinicola, alleging failure to pay nearly $24,000. 

According to the complaint, on March 21, 2016, JH Portfolio Debt Equities entered into a loan agreement with Dinicola. The suit says the plaintiff hassuffered damages in of $23,704.09 from the loan proceeds that remain unpaid. 

The plaintiff alleges Dinicola has failed or refuses to repay either the full balance due or the minimum monthly payment as promised, and that he has received and retained monetary funds without paying dues at the expense and detriment of the plaintiff.

JH Portfolio Debt Equities seeks trial by jury, judgment of $23,704.09, plus costs, and all other just relief. They are represented by attorneys Harold E. Scherr and Michelle K. Hines of Grossman & Karaszewski PLLC in Lake Mary.
