CLEARWATER --- A law firm is suing a client, alleging failure to pay for services rendered.

Denmon Pearlman Law filed a complaint June 4 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Casey Putz, alleging he owes nearly $12,000.

According to the complaint, between Sept. 7, 2016, and Oct. 10, 2017, Denmon Pearlman Law entered a written contract with Putz as a client with agreed specified amounts of payables. However, the suit says, Putz entered into another contractual agreement within the case without the law firm's prior knowledge and has failed to pay $11,77.50 in legal fees and costs.

As a result, Denmon Perlman Law says it has suffered and incurred substantial damages. The plaintiff alleges Putz breached the contract agreement and has failed to pay $11,77.50 in legal fees and costs.

Denmon Pearlman Law seek trial by jury, damages of $12,439.54, which includes interest, that will fully and fairly compensate for the breach of contract, reasonable attorney fees, court costs, expenses, interest and all other relief deemed just and proper. It is represented by attorney Nicole M. Denmon of Denmon Perlman Law in St. Petersburg.
