CLEARWATER — A Colorado company is suing Florida residents for unpaid debt on a foreclosed property.

Statebridge Company, LLC filed a complaint on May 8 in the 6th Judicial Circuit of Florida-Pinellas County against the defendants alleging that they still owe a deficiency claim of unpaid principal, interest and cost resulting from a property foreclosure.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 10, 2016, Statebridge Company was assigned all of the rights, interest and title with the defendants' property foreclosure located at 3099 Gatewood Ford Road, Jamestown. After accounting all the amount from the foreclosure, defendants allegedly owe a remaining deficiency of $71,530.17, after all conditions precedent have been performed.

The plaintiff holds Billy R. Voiles and Barbara S. Voiles responsible because they allegedly refuse to pay the remaining debt, which is due and owing even if all conditions precedent have been performed by Statebridge Company.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages exceeding $15,000 exclusive of interest, costs, attorney's fees and any further relief the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Walter L. Sanders of Walter L. Sanders, PA in North Venice.
