CLEARWATER — A manufacturer is suing Seven Mile Investments Inc. d/b/a Electronic Precepts of Florida a/k/a Electronic Precepts, a Florida corporation, citing alleged breach of contract.

Clearwater Enviro Technologies Inc. filed a complaint on May 7 in the Pinellas Circuit Court against Seven Mile Investments Inc. d/b/a Electronic Precepts of Florida a/k/a Electronic Precepts alleging that the Florida corporation breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.

According to the complaint, Clearwater Enviro Technologies suffered substantial damages as a result of entering into a contract with the defendant to help test and manufacture plaintiff's products, to which the defendant refused to return to plaintiff certain confidential and proprietary information, despite numerous requests to do so.

The plaintiff holds Seven Mile Investments Inc. d/b/a Electronic Precepts of Florida a/k/a Electronic Precepts responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to immediately return the confidential information and property to plaintiff, and breached the Non-Disclosure Agreement which caused significant damage to plaintiff.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for temporary and permanent injunction, return all of plaintiff's information and property, compensatory damages, attorney's fees, costs, and further relief as the court deems just. They are represented by Charles M. Harris, Gerald Davis and Patrick M. Causey of Trenam, Kemker, Scharf, Barkin, Frye, O'Neill & Mullis PA in St. Petersburg.
