Visitor alleges Orlando property operator's negligence led to injuries

Slip01

ORLANDO — An Orlando woman is suing a local property operator, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Colleen Carroll filed a complaint May 7 in Orange County Circuit Court against Lake Underhill Professional Group LLC, alleging failure to use due care to maintain its premises in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on March 22, 2017, Carroll was at Lake Underhill Professional Group, 7824 Lake Underhill Road, Orlando. The suit says Carroll tripped and fell as a result of the defendant's negligence in the maintenance of its premises.

Carroll says she was injured in and about her body and extremities, suffered pain, medical expenses, physical handicap, disability, impairment, disfigurement, loss of wages and aggravation of a pre-existing condition.

The plaintiff alleges Lake Underhill Professional Group failed to adequately inspect and maintain the premises, and failed to warn Carroll of the dangerous condition.

Carroll seeks trial by jury, compensatory damages in excess of $15,000, exclusive of interest and costs. She is represented by attorneys Raymond O. Bodiford and William White of Bodiford Law Group in Orlando.
