ORLANDO – A Texas company alleges an Orlando resident has fallen behind on rent for a space at an Orlando shopping center.

T North Sand Lake FL LLC filed a complaint on April 16 in the 9th Judicial Circuit Court of Orange County against Qua Phung and unknown tenants seeking an action for possession of property.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff owns property at the Sand Lake Corners Shopping Center in Orlando and Phung obtained possession of a lease agreement in July 2017.

The plaintiff holds Phung and unknown tenants responsible because the defendants allegedly breached the lease agreement and first amendment to the lease agreement by failing to make all payments when due.

The plaintiff seeks judgment for damages in the principal amount of $159,262.78 against defendants, together with costs, prejudgment interest, attorney's fees, and such other relief as the court deems proper. It is represented by Joshua K. Brown of Peterson & Myers PA in Lakeland.
