ORLANDO — A customer is suing a Mount Dora organic market, alleging negligence and breach of duty led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Carol Wenzel filed a complaint March 29 in Orange County Circuit court against Johnny Brewer, doing business as Brewer's Farm Fresh Produce, alleging the defendant failed to keep its parking lot in a safe and reasonable condition.

According to the complaint, on March 7, 2017, Wenzel arrived in the parking area of roadside Brewer's Farm Fresh Produce, 3380 N. Orange Blossom Trail, Mount Hope. The suit says Wenzel stepped on an uneven surface in the parking lot, lost her balance and fell while exiting her car.

As a result, Wenzel says, she suffered bodily injuries and disability, plus expense of hospitalization, medical care and treatment.

The plaintiff alleges Brewer's Farm Fresh Produce failed to correct a condition it knew or should have known about, failed to maintain the parking area and failed to properly inspect the parking area for dangerous condition.

Wenzel seeks trial by jury and damages that exceed $15,000. She is represented by attorney Jackson W. Adams of Wooten & Kimbrough, PA in Orlando.
