ORLANDO — An Indian River County woman is suing an Orlando amusement park, alleging negligence caused injuries to the plaintiff.

Galina Malbeck filed a complaint March 29 in Orange County Circuit Court against Godwin's Gatorland Inc., alleging failure to maintain its premises in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 8, 2015, Malbeck was at Godwin's Gatorland. The suit says she slipped and fell on the main walkway that was covered with slippery paint. Malbeck says she sustained bodily injury, disability, disfigurement, expenses for medical and nursing care and treatment, mental anguish, loss of earning, and pain and suffering, as a result of the defendant's negligence.

The plaintiff alleges Godwin's Gatorland failed to use safe paint on a high foot traffic area of the park, failed to warn Malbeck of the danger of the premises, and failed to correct and/or maintain the dangerous condition.

Malbeck seeks trial by jury, general damages of more than $15,000 and all further just relief. She is represented by attorney Louiza Tarassova of The Law Office of Louiza Tarassova PA in Winter Park.
