ORLANDO — A Miami-Dade County woman is suing a Walt Disney resort, alleging negligence caused her to suffer injuries.

Mariella Bianchi filed a complaint March 29 in Orange County Circuit Court against Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. Inc., alleging the defendant created a dangerous condition and a hazard to patrons.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 26, 2015, Bianchi was at the defendant's premises in Orlando when she fell due to a slippery substance near the entrance. As a result, Bianchi says she sustained bodily injuries, resulting in pain and suffering, disability and the expense of hospitalization, medical care and nursing care.

The plaintiff alleges Walt Disney Parks and Resorts U.S. failed to maintain its floors in a reasonably safe condition and failed to correct and warn invitees of the dangerous condition.

Bianchi seeks trial by jury, damages that could exceed $75,000, costs of action and all further equitable and legal relief. She is represented by attorney Jonah M. Wolfson of Wolfson Law Firm LLP in Miami.
