ORLANDO — A Winter Park man is suing a plumbing contractor, alleging breach of contract and professional negligence.
Meir Weizman filed a complaint March 30 in Orange County Circuit Court against SR Plumbing LLC, alleging defective work.
According to the complaint,on Sept. 12, 2017, Weizman and SR Plumbing signed a contract for plumbing work and renovations at 1821 Pinetree Road, Winter Park. The suit says Weizman has suffered significant damages to his property and monetary injury as a result of the defendant's defective plumbing work that has lead to numerous leaks in the walls and floors
The plaintiff alleges SR Plumbing breached its duty to perform in a workmanlike manner and in compliance with industry standards.
Weizman seeks trial by jury, damages exceeding $15,000, plus costs of suit, interest, attorney fees and all further relief the court deems proper. He is represented by attorneys Ronnie J. Bitman and Justin S. Swartz of Pearson Bitman LLP in Maitland.
