FORT LAUDERDALE — A foreign corporation is suing Jet Fleet Management LLC, a Florida company, citing alleged breach of contract.
Spokane Industries Inc. filed a complaint on March 9 in the Broward Circuit Court against Jet Fleet Management LLC alleging that the Florida company breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in February and March 2016, Spokane Industries suffered economic damages for having sold and delivered tires, tubes and towbars to the defendant without receiving payment for the total amount of $18,867 plus interest.
The plaintiff holds Jet Fleet Management LLC responsible because it allegedly breached the purchase agreement by failing to pay for all the merchandise received from the plaintiff and obligated it to retain an attorney to protect its interest.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for the principal sum of $18,867, prejudgment interest, court costs, and further relief as the court deems just. It is represented by Joel B. Blumberg of Joel B. Blumberg PA in West Palm Beach.
