Car accident 27

FORT LAUDERDALE — A Broward County motorist is suing vehicle owners and an operator, alleging negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Marlon Lara filed a complaint March 8 in Broward County Circuit Court against Richard M. Kelly, Pauline L. Kelly and Alyssa M. Kelly, alleging Alyssa Kelly violated Florida Law by operating her vehicle in a careless or negligent manner.

According to the complaint, on June 5, 2017, Lara was involved in a motor vehicle accident caused by Alyssa M. Kelly. The suit says she was carelessly operating a vehicle owned by Pauline L. Kelly and Richard M. Kelly.

As a result, Lara says he sustained physical injuries, disability, mental anguish and expense of medical and nursing care and treatment.

The plaintiff alleges Alyssa M. Kelly unlawfully and recklessly operated a motor vehicle without proper regard for the life of another motorist.

Lara seeks trial by jury and judgment in excess of $15,000, including pre- and post-judgment interest. He is represented by attorney Brett K. Schlacter of The Law Offices of Brett L. Schlacter, PA in Bay Harbor Islands.
