OSCEOLA — An Osceola County woman is suing Cinemark, alleging negligence caused her to suffer injuries.

Yvonne Tucker filed a complaint March 1 in Osceola County Circuit Court against Cinemark USA Inc., alleging failure to to keep its premises safe for the public.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 18, 2016, Tucker visited the Cinemark at 5150 International Drive, Orlando, when she slipped and fell on a liquid substance that had remained in the floor.

Tucker says she suffered bodily injury, disability, mental anguish and the expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment.

The plaintiff alleges Cinemark USA failed to correct the unreasonably dangerous condition of the floor and failed to adequately warn guests of the danger.

Tucker seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, plus interest and costs. She is represented by attorney Mario Romero of Morgan & Morgan, PA in Kissimmee.
