ORLANDO — A Florida partnership is suing H&R Properties LLC, a Delaware company, citing alleged breach of contract.
Grandeville at Jubilee Park I LLLP filed a complaint Feb. 26 in Orange Circuit Court against H&R Properties LLC alleging that the Delaware company breached its duty of good faith and fair dealing.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 16, 2018, Grandeville at Jubilee Park I LLLP suffered damages from entering into a contract with the defendant for its purchase of a certain real estate and personal property, for which the defendant refused to pay the hard deposit on the property.
The plaintiff holds H&R Properties LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to perform its obligations under the contract by failing to deposit the hard deposit on the property and obligating the plaintiff to hire a law firm to protect its interest.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant for damages, interest, costs, attorney's fees, and other relief as the court deems proper. It is represented by Patrick C. Crowell of Patrick C. Crowell PA in Winter Park.
