ORLANDO — A customer is suing business owners of an Ocoee laser tag center, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Raul Duran filed a complaint Feb. 8 in Orange County Circuit Court against Supreme Laser Tag Family Fun Center Inc. and Village Marketplace Investors Ltd., alleging they failed to maintain its premises in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 27, Duran sustained bodily injury resulting in pain and suffering, disfigurement, disability, mental anguish, and incurred medical expenses. The suit says this resulted from Duran falling from the second story platform of the laser tag premises in Ocoee, due to the failure of the defendants to construct a safe structure for its invitees.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to warn Duran of the dangerous condition, allowed a dangerous condition to develop and exist, and failed to adequately train their employees regarding proper maintenance.

Duran seeks trial by jury, damages that exceed $15,000, exclusive of costs and attorney fees, and all further relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorney Trenton M. Swan of Todd K. Miner PA in Orlando.
