ORLANDO — A repair business is suing an Orange County company, alleging breach of contract.
Chadwick LLC, doing business as ServPro of Winter Park, filed a complaint Feb. 1 in Orange County Circuit Court against Direct Claims Management Group LLC and James Lebrun, alleging failure to pay more than $100,000 for services provided.
According to the complaint, on Sept. 1, 2017, ServPro of Winter Park entered into an agreement with the defendants to provide roof repair services to damaged residences. The suit says ServPro has suffered monetary losses because the defendants have failed to pay for all services rendered by plaintiff, owing a total of $103,493.16.
The plaintiff alleges Direct Claims Management Group and Lebrun breached the contract by failing to pay the funds due ServPro, accepted or retained the benefit conferred upon them by the plaintiff without paying, and obligated the plaintiff to retain an attorney.
ServPro of Winter Park seeks trial by jury, damages of $103,493,16, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other reasonable relief. It is represented by attorney Michael A. O'Brien of Orlando.
