CLEARWATER — A Pinellas County woman is suing a concessionaire service company, alleging sexual harassment.

Breauna Jordan filed a complaint Jan. 23 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against the Ewan Brown and Contemplate Inc. alleging violation of the 1992 Florida Civil Rights Act.

According to the complaint, on April 4, 2016, Jordan was working for Centerplate as a cashier at the Tropicana Field baseball stadium in St. Petersburg. Jordan says she was sexually harassed and assaulted by Brown, her supervisor, who touched her her body and genitals. The suit says Jordan reported the incident to Kacee Coleman, the company's HR manager but Coleman never called the police and Jordan was terminated after filling a charge of discrimination with the EEOC.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to supervise its employees and failed to prevent and correct sexually harassing behavior by its supervisors.

Jordan seeks trial by jury, back-pay, compensatory and punitive damages of more than $15,000, prejudgment interest, costs and attorney fees. She is represented by attorney Craig L. Berman of Berman Law Firm PA in St. Petersburg.
