Late 02

ORLANDO — An Orange County plumbing supplies company is suing a Florida customer, alleging breach of contract in failing to pay more than $16,000.

Hajoca Corporation, doing business Gorman Company, filed a complaint Jan. 16 in Orange County Circuit Court against Plumb Better Inc., alleging the defendant has failed to pay for services received.

According to the complaint, between Jan. 26-Dec. 25, , 2017, Gorman sold goods to Plumb Better. The suit says Gorman has suffered monetary damages as a result of the wrongful conduct of the defendant in failing to fully compensate the plaintiff for goods and services received.

The plaintiff alleges Plumb Better received and retained the benefit of goods and services at the expense and detriment of Gorman, and forced the plaintiff to retain and pay for an attorney.

Gorman Company seeks trial by jury, damages in the principal amount of $16,208.26, plus interest at 18 percent per annum, attorney fees, court costs and all further relief the court deems just. It is represented by attorney Charlie S. Martin of Orlando.
