ORLANDO — A former female employee is suing a Lake Buena Vista corporation, alleging discrimination and retaliation.

Paige Blauschild filed a complaint Jan. 5 in Orange County Circuit Court against La Dolbe LLC, alleging failure to stop sexual harassment.

According to the complaint, in July 2017, Blauschild began work at the defendant's Paradiso 37 restaurant in Orange County. Blauschild says she was wrongly terminated by the defendant in retaliation for her objections about a hostile work environment, including sexual harassment from her supervisor. As a result, Blauschild says she has suffered damages, including lost employment, income, benefits, emotional distress humiliation and embarrassment.

The plaintiff alleges La Dolbe retaliated against Blauschild for her opposition to sexual discrimination, and failed to protect her from being regularly subjected to its employee's sexually harassing behavior.

Blauschild seeks trial by jury, damages of at least $15,000, including actual damages, back pay, punitive damages, attorney fees, interest and court costs. She is represented by attorney Travis R. Hollifield of Hollifield Legal Centre in Winter Park.
