CLEARWATER — A Florida motorist is suing the driver of a car and its owners, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries and negligence.
Rada Jovanovic filed a complaint Dec. 28 in Pinellas County Circuit Court against Joseph Gibney, Vincent Gibney and Dawn Gibney, alleging they failed to properly control their vehicle in order to avoid colliding with the plaintiff's car.
According to the complaint, on Sept. 2, 2016, Jovanovic was driving near U.S. Highway 19 North and Park Boulevard in Pinellas Park. The suit she was crashed into by a car driven by Joseph Gibney and owned by Vincent Gibney and Dawn Gibeny. Jovanovic says she sustained bodily injuries.
The plaintiff alleges Joseph Gibney failed to keep a proper lookout in order to prevent his vehicle from colliding with the plaintiff's car.
Jovanovic seeks trial by jury and judgment that exceeds $15,000. She is represented by attorney Sumeet Kaul of Morgan & Morgan Tampa, PA. in St. Petersburg.
