ORLANDO — A guest is suing a Radisson hotel in Kissimmee, alleging a dangerous condition in its premises caused her to fall and suffer injuries.

Sarah Gilder filed a complaint Dec. 28 in Orange County Circuit Court against VWI Operations LLC, doing business as Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration, alleging the defendant failed to maintain reasonably safe conditions.

According to the complaint, on Dec. 11, 2016, Gilder was walking to a restroom off the pool area along the concrete walkway at the Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration in Kissimmee. The suit says Gilder slipped on the wet floor, causing her to fall on her left side. Gilder says she heard her bones crack.

As a result, Gilder says she suffered bodily injuries, aggravated her pre-existing condition, experienced inconvenience, diminished earning capacity as well as having to pay medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Radisson Resort Orlando-Celebration failed to keep and maintain its floors and walkways free of transitory foreign substances, which would present a slipping hazard, failed to warn individuals of the dangerous conditions of the floor and/or the propensity for slipperiness of the floor and failed to have adequate policies and procedures in place for the inspection, cleaning and maintenance of its floors.

Gilder seeks trial by jury, all damages recoverable under the law, as well as pre- and post-judgment interest and court costs. She is represented by attorneys Hector V. Ramirez and Nolan Klein of Law Offices of Nolan Klein, PA in Fort Lauderdale.
