ORLANDO — A Palm Beach County woman is suing a Kissimmee resort owner, alleging negligence caused her to suffer injuries.

Nereyda Lowe filed a complaint Dec. 20 in Orange County Circuit Court against Westgate Resorts Inc., alleging the resort owner failed to maintain its premises in a safe condition.

According to the complaint, on March 17, 2017, Lowe was a guest at Westgate Resorts on Westgate Boulevard in Kissimmee. The suit says Lowe was on the property when she tripped and fell as a result of a hazardous condition known to the defendant.

As a result of the accident, Lowe says, she sustained physical injuries, disability, mental anguish, aggravation of pre-existing conditions and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges Westgate Resorts failed to warn her of the existence of a hazardous condition, failed to adequately supervise and train employees and failed to timely and appropriately correct the hazardous condition.

Lowe seeks trial by jury, damages in excess of $15,000, plus interest and court costs. She is represented by attorney Gregory T. Zele of Zele Huber Trial Attorneys PA in Jupiter.
